Pineapple smoothie with microgreens
A healthy light-tasting naturally sweet green smoothie with protein from hemp hearts and chia seeds.
- 1 ripe banana peeled
- 119 gr. fresh pineapple or one thick slice
- 1 cup orange juice
- 2-3 cups My greens Microgreens of your choice
- 1 tbs chia seeds
- 1 tbs hemp hearts
- 1 tbs collagen powder optional
- 4 ice cubes
- 1 blender
- Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth.1 ripe banana, 119 gr. fresh pineapple, 1 cup orange juice, 2-3 cups My greens Microgreens, 1 tbs chia seeds, 1 tbs hemp hearts, 1 tbs collagen powder, 4 ice cubes
Substitute spinach, baby kale or other mixed greens for the microgreens if you'd like. You can also add other vegetables or fruit to this green smoothie. I sometimes add half an apple or half a celery stalk or a few slices of cucumber. This recipe and photos courtesy of Flavour and Savour
